- Face your bird box North, East, or North East as birds prefer this due to the provailing wind and rain.
- Don't put your Robin box near bird feeders or in an area where people congregate close to the box.
- Make sure the box is well hidden. If you can see the entrance to the box, then it is probably not in a suitable location.
- Robins like to nest low down and often on the ground. Because of this, they prefer to be camoflauged. This box should be placed below head height.
- The Robin box should be well hidden, for exaple in ivy, at the base of a tree with lots of growth covering the box or in something like a shrub.
